Glasgow SfEP

The Glasgow SfEP group is a loose coalition of diverse professionals, all members or associates of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, who share a belief in editorial excellence and the importance of being in touch with like-minded people.

Originally formed in a Glasgow coffee bar in September 2003, the group meets every couple of months in various locations and is increasing in size – membership is currently in the mid-twenties.

If two heads are better than one, then a collection of twenty-odd surely offers considerable advantages. We have a broad range of backgrounds, interests and skills available to colleagues and also prospective clients.

Our group directory records members’ areas of expertise, and members may use an email address based on our domains edit-glasgow.org.uk and/or edit-scotland.org.uk. We also keep in regular touch via a private email list.

• get to know other SfEP folk for socialising and networking
