The SfEP is a professional society for copy-editors and proofreaders. Our aims include promoting high editorial standards. We have two tiers of membership (ordinary and advanced), and anyone can join as an associate.

Members of the SfEP provide editorial services to publishers and a wide range of companies, government agencies and other organisations. Some of us are also copywriters, indexers, project managers, translators and/or typesetters. We have a broad range of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
