Information for delegates

Accommodation All rooms are non-smoking with en-suite showers. There is no lift so please indicate on the booking form if you prefer a room on the ground floor. If you wish to come one day earlier (3 September), please indicate on the form.

Accompanying persons No double rooms are available. However, there is a Premier Inn close to the venue (Glasgow City – George Square). Accompanying persons may not attend the conference, but they may attend the conference dinner at a cost of £35.

AGM (Sunday 4 September) Please indicate on the booking form if you intend to be present.

Booking and cancellation Booking is now open and closes on 9 July 2009. Bookings received after 9 July will be held on a waiting list, but places cannot be guaranteed.

If you have to cancel your booking, a partial refund may be possible if we can fill your place. Late cancellations (after 31 July) will not be eligible for any refund. NB: A non-refundable deposit of £50 is included in the conference fee.

Confirmation of booking A confirmation email will be sent to you on receipt of your booking form and payment.

Dates and times

Early bird discounts

Extra nights Accommodation on Sunday and Monday nights is included in the residential rate. An extra night before (i.e. Friday night) and after (Monday night) the conference will cost £40 per person per night for bed and breakfast.

Internet You'll need to purchase BT Openzone vouchers, which are available at various locations on the university campus. If you're not bringing your laptop, the university is looking at installing some computers in the bar/restaurant, but you'll still need to purchase the BT vouchers.

Post-conference training course

Tuesday 7 September 2010: Onscreen Editing 1. Venue: Go Business and Training Centre (a few minutes' walk from University of Strathclyde).
