Information for delegates
Accommodation All rooms are non-smoking with en-suite showers. Lifts are available in the accommodation blocks being used by the conference.
Accompanying persons Some double rooms are available at an additional cost of £50 per night (includes breakfast). These rooms are located in Franklin House, which is a 10-minute walk from the main conference centre, Vanbrugh College. Please book as early as possible as these rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Accompanying persons may not attend the conference, but they may go to the conference dinner at a cost of £35.
AGM This will take place on Saturday, 8 September 2012 at 5pm. 'If you are planning to attend the conference, please indicate whether you also plan to attend the AGM by ticking the relevant box during the booking process.
If you plan to come to the AGM but not the conference, there is no charge. However, to ensure that we know that you're coming, please the office, putting 'AGM attendance' in the subject line – and check that your email gives your full name.
Booking and cancellation Booking is now open and closes on 6 July 2012. Bookings received after 6 July will be held on a waiting list, but places cannot be guaranteed.
If you have to cancel your booking, a partial refund may be possible if we can fill your place. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is included in the conference fee. Late cancellations (after 27 July) will not be eligible for refund.
Choosing workshops/seminars You'll be sent an email in early July notifying you that booking for workshop/seminar choices is open and giving instructions on how to do this online. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the leaders. Workshops will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you'll be away during this period, please advise the SfEP Office so that we can make contact with you before you go away.
Conference centre accessibility Break-out rooms will be on the first floor of the conference centre, but there is a lift.
Conference dates and times The conference will start at 9.30am on Sunday 9 September and end at 4pm on Monday 10 September.
Early bird discounts
Extra night The residential fee includes accommodation for Saturday and Sunday nights. An extra night before the conference – say, so you can attend the pre-conference course – will cost £50 per person for bed and breakfast.
Fees All fees are inclusive of VAT.
