Using the SfEP logo
Linking to the SfEP home page
You may add this logo to your website to link to the SfEP home page.
Please note, however, that you may only use the logo graphic supplied here.
How to...
All you have to do is follow these steps:- Right-click (or, if using a Mac, Control-click)
on the graphic below and follow the instructions to save it to your computer:

- Copy and paste the following HTML code to your
web page:
<a href="http://www.sfep.org.uk/" title="Visit the Society for Editors and Proofreaders" target="_blank"><img src="[FILENAME]" alt="Link to The Society for Editors and Proofreaders" border="0" width="221" height="130"></a>
where[FILENAME]is the name of the image file which you have saved. If your graphic isn't in the same directory or folder as the web page, you'll need to change the"img src="attribute to point to the image's correct location. - Upload your web page with the new HTML and the graphic to your web server.
Please note that you may not use a screengrab taken from this website – it is likely to look very amateurish, which will reflect badly on both you and the Society.
If you want to create an ordinary text link, skip the steps above that relate to the graphic, and copy and paste the following HTML code at a suitable point on your page:
<a href="http://www.sfep.org.uk/" title="Link to The
Society for Editors and Proofreaders" target="_blank">Visit
the Society for Editors and Proofreaders</a>
Other uses
You may also use this logo (linked or not) as a graphic in freelance directory entries, on CVs and Facebook and LinkedIn pages and in other, similar ways. Advanced, accredited and registered members may use logos specific to their qualifications. The SfEP Office has a supply of logos of various sizes; contact them to find out if they have what you need.
Corporate subscribers
If you are a corporate subscriber, the SfEP is delighted to encourage your use of the logo above if you wish to show your support of the Society's aims. Please note, however, that the logo may not be used to indicate endorsement of training provided by other organisations, as the SfEP does not give such endorsement. The training pages of this website list course providers recommended by the SfEP.
The SfEP Council reserves the right to ask for SfEP logos to be deleted when in their opinion they are being used inappropriately.
