To book a course, download the relevant application form (PDF) – just click the relevant course date below. If no date is shown, the course isn't scheduled to run. If a date is shown but there's no link to a booking form, the course is fully booked. In either case, please contact the SfEP Office to find out when the course will next run.

Please book in good time – four to six weeks before a course is to run. If too many places are still available after that, the Society may have to cancel the course. It's distressing when several late bookings are received that, had they been made earlier, would have meant that a now-cancelled course could have gone ahead. So it's to everyone's benefit if places are booked as early as possible.

Course times
All SfEP courses run from 9.30am to 4.30/4.45pm except for On-screen editing 1 and 2 and the York-based courses, which run from 10am to 5pm.
Transfer fee
If, less than a calendar month before it's held, you find that you can't make a course you've booked, you may be able to transfer your booking for that course to another date or location. However, a £50 transfer fee will be charged if the transfer is requested within two weeks of the course date and the Society is unable to refill your original place.
On-Screen Editing 1 + 2 = 3 times faster copy-editing?!
Our On-Screen Editing (OSE) 1 and 2 courses will be running consecutively on 19 and 20 March in Manchester.
By taking the two courses together, you'll consolidate the skills you've learned, allowing you to put your new abilities into practice from your first day back in the office. And if you book both courses together, you'll receive a £25 discount on OSE2.
