Fiction forms the mainstay of my work, especially copy-editing/proofreading literary and young adult novels. I particularly enjoy proofreading translated fiction and am able to draw on my degree in modern languages for additional sense-checking. I am also happy to assess manuscripts and report on key structural elements such as plot, pace, character, setting, narrative voice and so on.
