If your project includes text, I can help you get it right.
I'm an experienced editor and writer, specialising in non-fiction. I often work with text in layout, and I'm a proficient user of InDesign as well as Word for copy-editing and proofreading. Over the years I've helped to make thousands of projects publishable.
I've been an editor since 1998 (freelance since 2008), and come highly recommended. I work at every stage of the publishing process, from development and copy-editing to proofreading and localisation. Alongside my editorial business I also work as a mentor in copy-editing and proofreading for the SfEP.
I’m happy working on a wide range of subjects for a general readership, but some specialist areas include architecture, art and design, fashion and culture (especially East London and hipsters!), children's reference and cookery. My background is in trade and educational publishing; as well as books I now work in a range of published media.
For example, I also edit technical articles, specification notes, press releases, blog posts, company websites and inflight magazines. Why not contact me with your requirements, and let's see how I can help?

Liz is a highly capable, sensible, meticulous and efficient editor and I’m always confident that she’ll do a great job, whatever the task. She’s a reliable, safe pair of hands and a delight to work with.
