I've recently retired from full-time work but can be tempted back to the keyboard to assist with your special project. I particularly enjoy translating books about music, the arts and interesting ideas. I find editing translations and non-mother-tongue English satisfying, and I relish the challenge of directing audio recordings in any language.
Development editing and copy-editing, editing non-native English and foreign languages (French, German, Spanish), translation (from Dutch, French, German, Spanish into English), translation editing, audio production (spoken word)
Books, distance-learning materials, educational materials (especially language courses), illustrated books, online and integrated media, phrasebooks, travel guides
Qualifications and awards
BA French & German (Cambridge University)
Freelance editor and project manager since 1986; editor/senior editor, Linguaphone Institute, 1978–86
CGP Books, EdCo, First Edition Translations, Macmillan ELT, Oxford University Press
