Thirtieth anniversary edition
Editing Still Matters
Published to mark our 30th anniversary in 2018, Editing Still Matters is a compilation of articles from the Society’s newsletters and magazines, one from each of the 30 years since our formation in 1988. Some of the issues editors and proofreaders face are timeless, and we can call on the wisdom and knowhow of our predecessors. Other articles reveal how far our profession and the English language have moved on. Not least it provides a fascinating glimpse into the history and development of the Society.
The PDF version is FREE for SfEP members to download. You will need to log into the members’ area.
