Join us at Aston University, Birmingham, from 10 to 12 September for the SfEP conference and AGM. The conference is an opportunity to explore new skills and ideas while networking and socialising with editorial colleagues.
Speakers include the author, editor and director of the National Academy of Writing Richard Beard and the linguist, and now honorary president of the SfEP, David Crystal.

Editing with Word
Our new online Editing with Word course shows you how to get routine or laborious editing tasks done quickly, efficiently and accurately using tools and techniques within Word.
You will look at templates and styles, macros, find & replace and more, and learn how to use PerfectIt, ReferenceChecker, The Editor's Toolkit and FRedit. Includes downloadable study notes, lots of practice exercises and a dedicated support forum.
Cost: £149 (members), completion = 5 upgrade points
