The Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) is a professional organization based in the UK for editors and proofreaders – the people who strive to make text accurate and readable. It has three main aims:
- to promote high editorial standards
- to uphold the professional status of editors and proofreaders
- to encourage the use of services offered by SfEP members and associates.
This website contains much information for members and associates, for those who would like to employ them and for anyone connected in some way to the production of accurate and readable text. In particular, you can find out about:
